Musical Monday

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

I have another vampire obsession. This time it’s the HBO series True Blood. I watched all 12 episodes of season 1 (in 3 days!) and love it.  I love the grittiness of it, the dark humour, the sleaziness and although he’s no Edward Cullen, am quite fond of the lead vampire Bill Compton.

Am even more fond of the sadistic boss guy vampire Eric Northman. Yum.

Anyway, my musical Monday song this week is the song from the opening credits. “Bad Things” by Jace Everett:

Going Home

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

I had the TV on in the background earlier tonight, and heard a really cool song playing. It turns out it was the Advert for the Freelander 2, (the ad is in the link) and the song was Going Home, by a british rising star, Jon Allen. To my surprise, I found out that he’s giving the song away free on his website as a download, so I hopped over there to get it, and have been playing it non-stop since. He’s got such a great voice, really mellow. Definitely worth a listen if you like that kinda thing.

James Morrison is scared of fat Glaswegian fans.

Idiot in print here

Firstly, you are not all that special yourself, or particularly attractive, but it’s not something I would have ever thought to comment on had I not read your comment above.
Secondly, those fat Glaswegian neds have probably furnished your home by buying your shitty ten-a-penny records.
Thirdly, nice one by the way, to publicly slag off 1-Scottish people, 2-Fat people and 3-YOUR FANS in one stupid, idiotic statement.

Just putting it out there for the Fat Glasgow girls.

What a twat.
